Your app keeps working normally. Illumate only adds the tours and hints on top of your application — it is never required for your site to load or function. If our service is temporarily unavailable, your app runs exactly as usual and tours simply resume once we are back.
No. Illumate never stores or persists your page content — it only renders the tour and hint layer on top of your pages in real time. Your content stays yours and is never retained on our side.

On the Free plan, you can create 1 tour with up to 5 steps on 1 website and receive up to 2 feedback submissions per month. Upgrade to Pro anytime for unlimited websites, tours, steps, and feedback requests. Your existing tours are never deleted.
Security is built into every layer. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, with secure password hashing for every account. Pro users can additionally enable two-factor authentication compatible with any TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, and more), plus session management with device tracking and the ability to revoke sessions from unfamiliar devices. Illumate UI accesses websites in read-only mode and never modifies the original website. Third-party website content is never permanently stored — all rendering is ephemeral.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime with no questions asked. You’ll keep access to your plan features until the end of your billing period.
